Founded in 1882 as Knoxville Business College, the college was later acquired by Stephen A. South in 1989. The institution obtained accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools in 2000 and changed its name to South College Nashville in 2002.
South College is a private for-profit institution of higher learning. The main campus of the institution is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. It offers over 80 programs and concentrations.
